Plan Your Conference Schedule to Make Time for the County Buyers Mart

Each year, Georgia counties collectively spend millions of dollars on goods and services to run their local governments. From architecture, engineering, construction and project management to information technology, supplies for a wide range of county programs and services and more, fulfilling these needs for counties is big business.

The County Buyers Mart is the perfect opportunity for county officials to interact with companies that provide, or seek to provide, goods and services to local governments. Many of the companies that exhibit at the County Buyers Mart can help county officials find solutions to current needs and share ways that they have worked successfully in other parts of the state. In addition, many of ACCG’s non-profit partners, including state agencies, participate in the County Buyers Mart to have an opportunity to interact directly with Georgia county officials.

Preferred Partners

Each year, ACCG invites our Preferred Partners to exhibit at the County Buyers Mart in special designated areas. The Preferred Partner booths will be designated by signage and red carpet. Many of the ACCG Preferred Partners provide discount pricing opportunities for Georgia counties as a result of their relationship with ACCG. Visit our Preferred Partners to ensure that your county is familiar with these programs and services and is taking full advantage of opportunities resulting from your membership in ACCG.

Heavy Equipment and LGRMS Vaccine Clinic

Heavy equipment will once again be showcased indoors. County officials will have the opportunity to get a “close up” of this important equipment and talk to county representatives.

Local Government Risk Management Services (LGRMS) and the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension are partnering with the UGA College of Pharmacy and Wal-Mart Marketplace Pharmacy to provide FREE COVID-19 vaccine doses and boosters AND the FLU vaccine during the ACCG County Buyers Mart. Faculty from UGA will provide information to help dispel myths about vaccines and answer questions.

For those who are interested and eligible, LGRMS is providing Pfizer and Moderna 1st, 2nd, and booster doses onsite in the LGRMS booth #140 and 250 on Friday and Saturday. They are also providing the following flu vaccinations: Flublok, Fluzone, and Fluzone HD for 65+.

County Agents’ Farm House

The County Agents’ Farm House is an ACCG Annual Conference favorite! Centrally located in the middle of the County Buyers Mart Floor, the Farm House will feature foods grown or produced throughout Georgia on Friday and Saturday. This year food distribution may differ from previous years because of COVID.

Don’t miss the opportunity to sample some great Georgia food, learn more about the history of UGA Cooperative Extension and thank the county agents working in the Farm House for all that they and their counterparts do in your communities.
